Senior Pastor
Chris Blair:
Chris has been the lead pastor at Powell Butte since 1998. He and his wife Debbi have been married 21 years, and they have two sons, Tyler, who is 18, and Jordan, who is 16. Chris grew up in California (but don't hold that against him). He was the senior pastor of the Grangeville Christian Church in northern Idaho for six years before coming to Powell Butte. Before that he was in youth ministry in California for ten years. Chris has a Bachelors degree from San Jose Bible College, now known as William Jessup University. He has a Masters degree from Pacific Christian, now known as Hope International University. Do you notice how they keep changing the names of the schools he graduates from? |

Associate Pastor
John A. Robinson came to us in 1996, working alongside Pastor Tom Shelton. Ours is the blessing to have John as he was raised here in Powell Butte and dedicated his life to the Lord at the age of 10. We, as a church, supported them while they were missionaries in Guatemala. Working along side John are his wife Karen, and their 4 girls. John graduated from Oregon State University, worked 10 years as an electrical engineer (retired as a Senior Energy Engineer), earned his masters degree at Multnomah Seminary and was involved in Central America (Guatemala) for several years as a missionary. John's primary responsibilities are oversight of the TLC small groups and Kids Korral. |

Pastor of Fellowship
Pastor Glenn Bartnik & Bonnie, & their family have been members at PBCC since 1975, after relocating here from the Willamette Valley. Both are native Oregonians. They have 3 grown children & 10 grandchildren. Glenn held many leadership positions at PBCC, & was ordained here in 1995. After teaching 30 years, Glenn retired, & began to pastor in the Central Oregon area. He pastored at First Christian Church in Madras for 3 ½ years. There he also served as Chaplain for Hospice of Mountain View Hospital, & served on-call for Police, Fire, and Emergency Services in Jefferson County. Later, he served at the church-plant, Real Life Christian Church, Bend, building Small Groups, & then as Interim Pastor for the Christian Church of Redmond. He returned “HOME” to PBCC, March 2004, & is serving as Fellowship Pastor! |

Youth Pastor
Tony Collins : Tony has been in youth ministry for 14 years, before coming to Powell Butte as a full time youth pastor in 2001. Tony worked as the Redmond Youth for Christ director for 7 years. Tony, his beautiful wife Dawn, and their six daughters live in Redmond. |

Office Manager
Linda Colovos: Linda has lived in Prineville since 1973. She was originally from Pennsylvania. She is the mother of 4 grown children, three living here and one serving in the military. Before coming to PBCC she owned and operated a restaurant, motel and catering business. |

Pastor Emeritus
Tom Shelton: Bachelor of Theology from Northwest Christian College in Eugene, OR; Bachelor of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana. During his ministry, Tom has served the following churches: Mallory Avenue Christian Church, Portland, 1 year; Pastor of Columbia Falls Christian Church, Montana, 5 yrs; Rocklane Christian Church, Greenwod, Indiana, 4 yrs; First Christian Church (now Discovery Christian Church), Bend – serving twice at this church, total 16 yrs; Allison Park Christian Church, Eugene, 10 yrs; served one year as a counseling pastor for the Eugene Faith Center, 4-Square Gospel Church; and finally, Powell Butte Christian Church, for 6 years. Tom enjoys counseling and talking to people about how to become a Christian. Tom and Ruby have 2 adult children – a son in Florida, and a daughter in Troutdale – and 2 grandsons, and 2 granddaughters. His home is the parsonage on the church property – just south of the church building. |

Receptionist
Jeanne Jensen: Jeanne has lived in Prineville her entire life. Married with 2 girls ages 20 and 17. Jeanne was a stay at home mom who has homeschooled her girls 13 years before coming to work here at PBCC. |
