Lord's Acre Day At Powell Butte Christian Church

IN-PERSON

Many people prefer the traditional way of giving to their church. People still choose to mail their checks in to the church (P.O. Box 2, Powell Butte, OR  97753), or to bring their tithes and offerings with them to Celebration Services. We have both offering boxes in the back of the Worship Center, and pass offering bags/plates during our Celebration Services. This still is am acceptable way of presenting your offeirngs to the Lord.

ONLINE

We now have an option for paying from your desktop computer or your mobile device. Please click the following link to get to our brand new PBCC app, which includes a secure site for online giving.

AUTOMATED

Perhaps one of the easiest ways of giving to PBCC is through Bill Pay, which is a one-time or recurring payment directly from your banking institution (credit unions included) to PBCC in the form of a check drawn from your account by the institution and sent directly to the offices of PBCC. This is a secure option due to the fact that personal information (i.e., account numbers, etc.) is not made available on the internet, but remains safely with your bank or credit union. It also is a wonderful way of keeping your tithes and offerings as "firstfruits" by your choosing it to come out as your first payment (rather than at the end of the month).

To use this method, simply contact your banking institution and inquire about Bill Pay. They will help you set up the Payee, the Address, and the Payment Date (one-time or recurring). Our address for Bill Pay should be P.O. Box 2, Powell Butte, OR  97753.

GIVING AT PBCC

In 2 Corinthians 8, the Apostle Paul gave some great insights about generosity towards God's Kingdom. He talks about the Macedonian churches that had - all on their own - decided to provide funds for Kingdom work. He says, "Their overflowing joy... welled up in rich generosity... Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints." He goes on to say that giving should be done with willingness, not under compulsion. But he also makes the observation that he who sows sparingly shall reap sparingly. Since God has invited His people to sow into His Kingdom, it is our desire to see a bountiful harvest, therefore we do not want to sow sparingly into that Kingdom work.

At Powell Butte Christian Church, we offer a few ways for people to be generous through tithes and offerings. Below you will find information and useful links for you to participate in generous giving.
